{"id":70,"date":"2009-03-09T11:57:00","date_gmt":"2009-03-09T11:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/youonlyliveonce.es\/?p=70"},"modified":"2009-03-09T11:57:00","modified_gmt":"2009-03-09T11:57:00","slug":"32-the-town-of-milford-sound","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/youonlyliveonce.es\/?p=70","title":{"rendered":"32- THE TOWN OF MILFORD SOUND"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>9 i 10 de mar\u00e7<\/p>\n<p>The Town of Milford Sound<\/p>\n<p>Sound te molts significats en angles, un d&#8217;ells no s\u00e9 traduir-lo per\u00f2 si que puc provar de definir-lo amb el que ens han explicat.<\/p>\n<p>Un Sound es una paraula que utilitzen els ge\u00f2legs per a definir una formaci\u00f3 rocosa en la que el mar entra a buscar el riu, creant una esp\u00e8cie de llac. El que succeeix aleshores es que l&#8217;aigua salada entra en contacte amb la dol\u00e7a i donat que tenen diferents densitats es crea, com l&#8217;oli fa amb l&#8217;aiqua, una capa d&#8217;un metre d&#8217;aigua dol\u00e7a, dep\u00e8n del que plou, a vegades arriba a ser de 15 metres, sobre el 340 metres d&#8217;aigua salada que fa el milford.<\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00f2 crea una natura un pel peculiar, ja que pots veure truites de riu i un metre m\u00e9s a baix estrelles de mar i corall blanc. A m\u00e9s, puja i baixa la marea, tens a les voreres musclos nans d&#8217;aigua salada que no creixen per culpa de l&#8217;aigua dol\u00e7a. Si pesquessis un peix d&#8217;aigua salada, moriria abans de treure&#8217;l ja que les seves br\u00e0nquies no suportarien l&#8217;aigua dol\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>Es diferencia d&#8217;un fiord per que aquest segon s&#8217;ha format per que s&#8217;han obert les muntanyes amb els moviments de les plaques tect\u00f2niques i dona com a resultat un fons pla, i una formaci\u00f3 geol\u00f2gica amb forma de \u00abU\u00bb. En un Sound, el fons es la pr\u00f2pia vall, es a dir, acabaria en forma de \u00abV\u00bb,<\/p>\n<p>Es molt com\u00fa veure balenes i dofins en un Sound i nom\u00e9s hi trobarem dofins en un fiord.<\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00ed quan al segle 19 van colonizar Milford es van trobar amb que hi havia balenes, aix\u00ed van posar-li Milford Sound al poble. Avui en dia quan et parlen del Milford Sound, t&#8217;estan parlant del poble, no del fiord. Aquesta es la ra\u00f3 per que una formaci\u00f3 de fiords reben el nom de Sounds, el mateix pasa a Douful Sound, etc. De fet la zona es diu Fiordland per que no hi ha un sol Sound en el sur de NZ, l&#8217;\u00fanic del pa\u00eds est\u00e0 al estret entre les dos illes, Picton, ja vam entrar amb el ferry i haurem de tornar per anar cap a Auckland.<\/p>\n<p>La gracia de ser un fiord es que els creuers es poden acostar a les parets ja que son rectes fins el fons i pots experimentar com et cau a sobre un d&#8217;aquests espectaculars salts d&#8217;aigua.<\/p>\n<p>De tornada ens hem parat a fer nit a un Refugi de muntanya, Homers Hut, per all\u00f2 de veure com son abans de arribar a la caminada del 13, i per el mati seg\u00fcent em fet una caminada no marcada que li diuen Geltrude Saddle, s&#8217;ens ha comen\u00e7at a emboirar i donat que no ten\u00edem massa clar el cam\u00ed de tornada, el cap del refugi ens ha volgut apuntar els noms i aqu\u00ed trucar en cas que no torn\u00e9ssim. A cinc minutets per arribar al final hem donat mitja volta i mentre la boira ens perseguia an\u00e0vem trobant el cam\u00ed de tornada.<\/p>\n<p>Dem\u00e0 anem cap a Milford Great track, aix\u00ed que no connectarem en uns 4 dies, petonets i cuideu-vos de la neu, us deixem mentrestant un amic en perill d&#8217;extinci\u00f3 que sens a possat al davant.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both;
